Scalar API Reference

The interactive API explorer mounted at /droidspeak/api.

@scalar/api-reference-react (^0.9.40) renders an OpenAPI spec as an interactive "try it" API browser. It's the route behind /droidspeak/api — the operator-facing view of every endpoint the dashboard exposes.

OpenAPI spec source

The spec is generated from the route handlers' shapes. Today this is a hand-curated OpenAPI document; the planned zod-adoption work will switch this to auto-generation (one schema per route → one OpenAPI document).

What you can do from /droidspeak/api

  • Browse every /api/* route, grouped by plane.
  • See request / response shapes.
  • Send requests against the live dashboard (auth comes from the operator's session cookie — no API key entry).

What Scalar is not

  • Not a code generator. No client SDK comes out of this surface.
  • Not the canonical contract. The route handlers + the planned zod schemas are authoritative; the OpenAPI doc is derived.
